Never Forget

Today is a day to honor both the heroes of 9/11 and those that have gone on to serve this exceptional Nation in the cause of liberty.  We should morn the loss of fellow citizens both on that day and in the subsequent battles around the world.

Tomorrow we need to redouble our efforts to overwhelm the barbarians who would do this again were they to have the opportunity.  They are evil and they must be destroyed.

I awoke unusually early this morning expecting a solemn day that would start with a church service.  I was greeted by a “News Alert” that a truck bomber had successfully attacked our service men and women in Afghanistan.  The last alert indicated that 77 are wounded.  The fight goes on.

Never forget.

Decision Points       The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)

  1. Amigo,
I woke at 4 AM this morning and 9.11.01 was my first thought as is often the case. I recalled the horror of that day in my mind. Images of that day I will never forget.

Sadly, since then the left has come to fear conservatism more that radical Islam.

Yes, we need to redouble our efforts on all fronts but how do we fix stupid.

Watching the commemoration in NYC this last hour I noticed tears from both George and Laura Bush, from the Obamas I saw no emotion or even a feint of sadness. We can fix that next year but I worry about his minions.

Each morning I raise my flag in remembrance of that horrible day. The left chooses to ignore the events of that day and has concluded that our arrogance provoked the attack. Again, I ask, how can we fix stupid? I submit that we cannot, liberalism is a mental disease for which there is no cure.

God bless America and I pray that our creator instill some semblance of common sense in their deluded pea brains.

  2. Thank you. The fight will go on. I just worry about the stupid, idiotic fence sitters in our country with short memories who refuse to believe that our enemies want to kill us for no other reason than because we are Americans. That is a concept that is foreign to bleeding heart liberals. It's tough enough to continue this fight without having to face opposition from liberal idiots here at home. Thanks again for your service.

  3. Barring the onset of dementia, I'm not likely to ever forget!

It was one of those singular moments in history that is etched forever in the memory of an entire people.

Few moments in my life have compared to it outside of the assassination of JFK, or perhaps the moon landing.

    Well said!

  4. Thank you all. The sermon this morning was about forgiveness. I told the preacher that I would forgive when the last of those bastards was knelling at the alter with me taking communion. Until then we need to keep killing them. He said he would pray for me - I wonder what he meant?

God Bless the United States and success to the Marines.

  5. CS,

God may forgive them, but I won't ask Him to. I consider it my duty as a Christian and as a Marine to keep introducing evildoers to the Lord - in person.

  6. Christianity does preach forgiveness, unlike Islam. The only problem is that none of us are angelic, sons of God. We are Human, and as a result, I think we all feel the need for retaliate, and revenge.

  7. This conflict is everyday-24-7. We as a free people WILL do whatever it takes to remain free and those who disagree can take a long walk on a short pier!!Our resolve is strong-the Giant is AWAKE!!

  8. Tenth - exactly right, leave that business of forgiveness to God.

J.O.B., The key component of forgiveness is repentance. That's why I qualified my comment to the pastor. Christians tend to focus on the "turn your cheek" aspect of the Bible and forget the rest. I keep Psalm 144 close: "Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle."

Until all those vicious bastard repent - we need to keep killing them.

  9. Gallant - I couldn't agree with you more.
