Rick Perry: Faith

We've tried it the other way for three years now - I think it's time to try it Rick Perry's way.

"It is the duty of all men in society, publicly, and at stated seasons, to worship the SUPREME BEING, the great Creator and Preserver of the universe. And no subject shall be hurt, molested, or restrained, in his person, liberty, or estate, for worshipping GOD in the manner most agreeable to the dictates of his own conscience; or for his religious profession or sentiments; provided he doth not disturb the public peace, or obstruct others in their religious worship." --John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776

  1. A very good tactic by Perry and one of the best 30-second spots I've seen. Finally, someone who is not ashamed to state what he believes. I respect him for that.

  2. I like faith. A lack of faith shows a lack of character.

  3. Amigo,
That's refreshing and a welcome announcement. Nothing wrong with a man who values his faith and knows where it is placed.

  4. Right,

It's nice to have a guy we can believe in who doesn't run away from America's faith.

I like to know where a guy is coming from too.

  6. One more thing... I think Rick Perry knows that people of faith have been a silent majority for just too long. It's time for them to wake up and Perry I think is trying to do that. If the silent majority wake up and stop being "tolerant" of all the crap, there will be a wave that comes over this country the likes we haven't seen in a long time. God promises to bless those who put their hope and fear in him. He hasn't broken a single one of his promises yet. Everything that was promised in the Bible has come true. I guess one has to ask whether or not they believe in the first place.
