Don’t Forget the ACLU at Christmas

Part of my Christmas tradition is to send a Christmas card to the Anti-American Civil Liberties Union.  Generally it is a Christian-themed card and I scrawl “Keep Christ in Christmas” in it and sign my name.

  2. Amigo,
    Mine isn't quite so polite.

I send them 10 every year. Thanks for the reminder.

This is the season when they recive the bulk of their donations. I love the notion of them wasting time opening a few million empty envelopes.

  3. THAT is a good idea,CS. Hmmm.... there is a local ACLU branch here at the U of M law school, where they train these suckers, in the PRoAA. Maybe one of those big door banners on their office door? A manger scene, big bold print saying Merry Christmas... I can see their heads exploding now.

  4. Right,

Not a problem - if we can get a few million cards going - might get their attention.

  5. Hardnox,

My point exactly - it's our very own jobs program.

  6. Clyde,

That's the idea - blowing their minds is indeed the objective.
