Too bad candidate Perry isn't as relaxed as he is in this ad. Sorry, but when it comes to the many many clips I have seen of him, he's sort of like Romney in that there is something stiff and almost disorganized about him. Maybe I haven't seen enough of him.
It sure will be refreshing when we get a real American back in the WH. Whoever the new crew is will first need Lysol in 55 gallon barrels to disinfect the place. Ditto on the aircraft and limos.
I wonder if Moochelle will revert back to hating America if Obama loses?
I like Perry and, he does have a decent record to stand on but, some of his gaffs are almost Biden-esque that I have to cringe sometimes.
Besides, msnbc, abc, nbc and cbs have already chosen Romney for us and have never neglected to mention he was the "frontrunner" since McLame lost in '08.
I was fortunate enough to see him in person (I was in the crowd at a fund raiser in Virginia just after he announced). That memory of his forceful and competent delivery carried me through the first couple of debates.
Perry has to learn to ignore the question and stay on message. Gingrich has the right formula with his "If you weren't stupid you would have asked me this question . . . " That's a winning shot.
I don't discount the effect of the mainstream media but the very first selection occurs with the candidate himself/herself. Another reason why I get a kick out of the RNC haters - all of these folks are volunteers. Say what you want about the field, but no one else put their meat hook in the air and offered to run (I don't include the four or five lunatics that are running well below the radar).
Good ad. I like the fact that she was proud of her serviceman. I bet she's proud of her country too.

Seems like a nice lady. Unlike the First Biotch.
ReplyDeleteTenth,
ReplyDeleteNo doubt. Seems like quite a lady.

Hardnox,
ReplyDeleteAgreed - choosing Presidents that have proven their lack of patriotism hasn't been working for us.

Clyde,
ReplyDeleteAnd she's not a lawyer!
How come Southern ladies seem to age well? Her not being a lawyer just gave her a second thumbs up. ;)
ReplyDeleteJohnny,
ReplyDeleteIt's in their genes I suspect.
Johnny,
ReplyDeleteThe biggest part of their secret is they are not conniving and mean. And laugh lines are prettier than frown lines.
