Virginia is for Lovers. New York is for?!?!?

I grew up in the West and was teased a great deal about being from the “Land of Fruit and Nuts” when I came East.  However in 1979 I was aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LPH-2) when we pulled into New York Harbor for a port call.  That was the last time I took any crap from anyone for being from the “Land of Fruit and Nuts.”  I would tell anyone subsequently that New York City was where the fruit and nut factory was.  While I was disappointed in the vile and disgusting move by New York’s government in promoting homosexual “marriage” – I am not really very surprised.  It is a thoroughly disgusting place.  I’m sure that the people of Western New York are every bit as disgusted by the perverts in New York City as the people of Spokane are with the perverts in Seattle or the people in Barstow are of the perverts in San Francisco

This is the lesson that we continue to learn about Liberals (Progressives, Democrats, Socialists, Perverts, whatever) – they can’t be trusted with the reigns of government – ever.   Homosexual marriage has come to a State ballot 31 times and it has been defeated by the people 31 times.  That’s a pretty awesome record.  Homosexual marriage even went down in flames in 2008, in California, in a year when Democrat (Socialist, Progressive, Liberal, whatever) Barack Obama won the Presidency.  You see, “We the People” don’t like it and we don’t want it.

We have a tiny, perverse, and radical minority pushing for us to accept one of nature’s aberrations.  Instead of getting these pathetic creatures help with their malady they are pushing forward to normalize an abomination.  When I was growing up practicing homosexuality was illegal in all 50 States and it still should be.  Our Nation was a better place to live then and we weren’t constantly confronted by perversion.

You won this round.  We aren’t done yet.

  2. Amigo,

Well said. I still can't rationalize why we 98% tolerate the 2%. Are we that stupid?
