Shut It Down

The Honorable Rob Wittman,

Watching the deep concern of many for a confrontation that would shut the government down, I say go ahead and make our day.  I see no down side to shutting the government down.  The cuts that Republicans have made are very modest.  If we can’t hold the line on $61 Billion when we really need to cut well over a Trillion dollars then we will never fix this out-of-control Federal government.  This is the first in a series of battles that Republicans absolutely have to win.  If the cost of victory is shutting down this bloated, free-spending, and irrational government – so be it.  Shut it down.

Sincerely Yours,

Constitution of the United States 23 X 29

  1. In the oil business they say shut 'er down, she's sucking mud. Congress has been sucking mud for a century. Why have WE waited so long to turn off the spigot?

Where are the BIG budget cuts that were promised? $61 billion is chump change.
