Shut It Down Part 2

Watching the eruption of viciousness from the Left in Wisconsin, Ohio, and the hearings on Radical Islam I don’t know how anyone can come to the conclusion that we can compromise with Democrats.  There is no middle ground on reducing our deficit and cutting back government.  Democrats don’t want to talk compromise until after they have already lost as in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana.  President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid took their “shellacking” so now they want to “compromise.”  Well it doesn’t work that way. 

 President Obama’s public rhetoric and Harry Reid’s actions this past week prove that they have no intention of addressing this problem.  Therefore we need to stop worrying about saving $57 Billion and go after $570 Billion in savings this year.  If the unholy axis of Obama-Reid shuts down the government in response – so be it. 

Once that happens, turn off the lights at the Capitol and start a media blitz.  With nothing else to do Republicans should go on every television, satellite, and radio show that they can cram into their schedule.  Grant interviews with every newspaper, magazine, and blogger.  Let’s get a tsunami of truth rolling across this great land. 

If Wisconsin proves anything, it proves that the left will stop at nothing to prevent you from fixing this fiscal nightmare that we are wallowing in.  The second thing Governor Walker proved is that we can win.  Honor his courage by fighting for a truly epic reduction in the Federal deficit. 

The American people will never be as ready as they are right now for you and your colleagues to take decisive action.  If President Obama and Senator Reid want to shut the government down – let them do it.  Don’t challenge them for a measly $57 Billion.  Challenge them for a meaningful figure like $570 Billion. 

You are the right man and you are in the right place to make an historic difference.  We’ve got your back.
