During the run-up to the 2008 Presidential election I remember all the tales about Illinois State Senator Barack H. Obama. One of the things that got thrashed around the most was his repeated votes of “present” thus avoiding a “yes” or a “no” vote. With all the other evidence of him being the worst candidate in our history for the highest office of the land – I didn’t give it much attention. Until today.

While his long term associations with fanatics, revolutionaries, and socialists were serious – his record of voting “Present” is killing us now. Come on 2012.
I am starting to believe that the Mayans were right. 2012 is looking like the end. And to get relief from this idiot, we need to make it to 2013.
ReplyDeleteYou could be right - but the optimist in me likes to think that these are the final spasms of a regime in it's death throes. Sort of like ordering three rounds of drinks at "Last Call." You know you aren't going to get another chance so you grab all you can.
